What AI buyers want from a construction company
Every finished job leaves a long trail. Bids, drawings, RFIs, change orders, daily logs, safety reports and site photos. Together they show how real crews solve real problems on real sites. That is exactly what AI developers can't find on the public web.
Mercor's listing asks for project records, drawings and site imagery from completed projects.
What makes construction data worth more
- Many completed projects. Dozens of jobs beat a handful.
- Records that connect. The bid, the drawings, the change orders and the final cost for the same job.
- Photos and logs with dates. Buyers want to see how a job moved from day one to closeout.
- Clear ownership. Drawings from an outside architect or engineer may not be yours to license.
What to check first
Read your contracts with owners and design firms. Many limit how drawings and project documents can be used. Client names, addresses and worker details will need to come out before anything is shared. Talk to your lawyer before you sign.
